Occupation: Entrepreneur) Marital Status: Married From Donald: Hello to all of you, I can hardly wait to see my friends at this reunion. A lot has happened in the last thirty years, so much so I don't know where to start so bear with me. After graduation I became a beach bum on a daily basis living off the days catch and whatever presented itself to me. I lived for the water and the sun for two years, my folks said I needed to get it out of my system. Ha ha! I bought a Motorcycle and toured the state with a fishing pole and bucket, and a sleeping bag strapped to the back and fished where ever I could see the Gulls flying. After I ran out of cash I started a business, that failed. I started another and that one failed also. So I took all the stock I had and started touring the country doing flea markets and auto shows, always buying more than I could carry in the trailer, and selling stuff for profits. I've done shows all over the northeast northcentral and south central parts of the country and even into Canada. Thats where I met my wife Karen, she was very big into Beanies and was helping her brother Wayne at the shows. After dating for an eternity she and I married at Bike Week on the Iron Horse stage in front of eight thousand bikers. Karen has two Grown children and her youngest is Graduating this June, plus we have three Grand children we love to spoil. On August 13th 2004 Hurricane Charley did a maneuver over our home and we have been rebuilding ever since. The barn and the motorhome both lost the battle and my garage exploded as a twister slamed into it. did you guess I was at home? The eye of the storm came over head and we had winds first from the east and then from the west, the walls were shaking and the roof was flying and the windows blew out, but we survived. Even my motorcycle stayed on it's sidestand. Afterwards I had to chainsaw the trees from the truck and the driveway so I could drive Karen to work, she is a first responder. The trip to her job took us two and a half hours to go 14 miles, it was total devastation. Karen and I are looking to purchase a summer home in Michigan to be near the kids, realestate is much cheaper there, about a third of what it is here. We will keep our Ranch here in Florida for the winter months and the family can vacation here. We have already closed our store here and put in our resignations, so we are close to making the Big move. I'm hoping to be at the big reunion on October 6th to see my friends in my old stomping grounds, maybe we can hoist a few and toast to those who won't be there. Send This Person a Message
