Occupation: Electronic technician) Marital Status: Married From Jim: After RHS, went to MJC then joined the Air Force for 4 years in July 77. 4 years somehow became 20. Arrived in Italy April 79 and have basically been here ever since. Met Paola 80’ and got married in 82’. “Retired” from USAF August 97’. After 2 years with a distance education college I now work for DRS. We provide the USAF a flight replication system that uses GPS technology. I’ve been to 15 different nations for work and/or fun. Occupation: Architect) Website: www.designarc.net Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Michael: 9 October 2006 I decided to update my personal entry a bit after the 30th reunion, which Beverly and I just loved. Great job everyone on pulling that event together. I'm sure more photos will be forthcoming. Dear Classmates, It's hard to realize that 30 years have passed since we all graduated from Riverview. I graduated from FLORIDA in 1981 in Architecture and recieved my Master of Architecture Degree in 1983 from Cal Polytech in California. I've been living in Santa Barbara for the past 17 years and am a Principal in a medium sized architectural firm based in Santa Barbar and Los Angeles. We focus on high end contemporary designs for commercial, instituional and high end custom homes. On a personal note, God has blessed me with a beautiful wife for the past 21 years and 3 teenage boys all of whom are surfers, snow boarders and volleyball players. My kids also all play music, so watch out for the Holliday Brothers Band CD. We also lead worship together at our local church Calvary Chapel of Santa Barbara. I've been leading worship at this church with my wife for the past 15 years as we've watched our small little fellowship grow from a few hundred to over 3,000 weekly. I also designed the 38,000 sf chuch building we use for church, as a skatepark, and a youth concert facility. Currently, I'm just loving life in Santa Barabra, surfing, mountain biking as much as I can to stay in shape. I designed Channel Isalnds Surf Shop in SB for Al Merrick and Tom Curren (3 time world Champion) occasionally jams with our band. It was really great to see everyone again, and the older I get the more I realize what a blessing it was to grow up in Sarasota and attend RHS when we did. It was truly a kids paradise, especially Siesta Key. For all of you who remebered our "killer parties" as many did, all I can say is those were the days. I'm glad most of us survived those loud rock and roll events with only minimal hearing damage. We must have been "the worst nieghbors". I have a great job as a Quality Assurance Specialist, testing and analyzing changes and enhancements to the software my company designs. I have been with the same software company for 8 years. I really enjoy living in this beautiful little town of Sarasota. I have watched so many changes take place since I moved here 35 years ago and its growth has been very exciting. My grown up son, Bryon and his family live near by in Lake Placid, Florida. Over the years Bryon has blessed me with three beautiful grandchildren: Brandon – age 9, Jenna – age 8 and Hayden who’s 3. I love being a "Grammy", as they call me and all three of them own my heart. I also love to bake and cook, and am hoping to embark upon that venture as a semi-retirement career one day. My friends and family say I bake the best blonde brownies they have ever tasted! I truly believe that this 30-year reunion will be even better than the 20th or the 10th Reunions, because…don’t ‘They’ say; “We’re not getting older – We’re getting better!” (((Smile))) I’m really looking forward seeing everyone and catching up.
